Young Jeezy Throws Up The Roc, Added To Jay-Z's "BP3" 2010 Tour
Jay-Z has announced plans to once again hit the road in early 2010 for a nationwide tour to support his platinum-certified Blueprint 3 album with help from Young Jeezy.
The tour was made official in a press release that circulated online today (November 5).
In the midst of his first college tour, promoting his latest #1 album The Blueprint 3 and his recently released video game sensation DJ Hero: Renegade Edition, the unstoppable Jay-Z confirms North American tour dates for 2010's BP3 tour. The second leg of the Live Nation-produced tour will begin on February 22nd in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center with more dates to be announced soon. Jay-Z will be joined by Grammy-nominated rapper Young Jeezy who will open all dates on the tour. Tickets go on sale beginning November 13th at LiveNation.com in select markets. (Press Release)

Jay-Z's BP3 North American tour will make a cross-country trek in 2010 stopping at arenas in major markets including Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Greensboro, Washington, Boston, Pittsburgh, St Louis, Indianapolis, Denver, San Jose, Los Angeles and more. Hip-hop star Jay-Z says N.E.R.D, Wale and J.Cole are to join him throughout his upcoming North American concert tour. The Live Nation-produced tour is scheduled to make 24 stops at a mix of college campus arenas and traditional venues across North America, starting at Penn State University Oct. 9. Seventy-eight Lil Wayne headlining arena and amphitheater concerts in North America from Dec. 14, 2008, through Sept. 6, 2009, grossed approximately $42 million and drew nearly 804,000 fans, according to Lil Wayne tour producer and tour business manager Shawn Gee. The second highest-grossing rap tour that Billboard has tracked was Jay-Z's 2008 jaunt with Mary J. Blige, which grossed $34.6 million and drew 310,694 concertgoers to 28 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. Kanye West's 2008 Glow In the Dark tour comes in third, having pulled in $30.8 million from 49 concerts that attracted 507,853 fans. (Billboard)
