Rihanna To Break Silence On Chris Brown Incident

Grammy-winning singer Rihanna will reportedly break her silence on Chris Brown for the first time since their publicized domestic dispute last February in a televised interview this week.

According to reports, RiRi is scheduled to give her first interview on Thursday (November 5).

Rihanna will sit down for a one-on-one interview for the first time since February this week. Booked to appear on ABC's "20/20" ahead of her anticipated appearance on the network's "Good Morning America" later this month, the "Russian Roulette" singer is expected to tell her side of the story weeks after Chris Brown's much-talked-about interview with "Larry King Live." Her appearance has also been confirmed by ABC.

The network has confirmed her scheduled appearance on its "Good Morning America" and "20/20" through a less than one minute promo video. Rihanna will first appear in "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. on Thursday, November 5. Then, the following day she will come to "20/20" at 10/9c. The songstress herself hasn't addressed the report just yet. (Ace Showbiz)

The singer is also promoting her upcoming album, Rated R.

PopEater is proud to exclusively premiere the cover for her impending album, Rated R. The grainy black-and-white cover shows the R&B queen draped in hand jewelry and covering one eye. The Rated R cover was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who says that "Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album." Von Unwerth goes on to say that Rihanna is "so beautiful, sweet and tough at the same time -- and a pleasure to shoot," adding that she's "fantastic to work with -- very giving, very creative, very involved in every aspect of the shoot, and ready to push the boundaries." Rihanna's new single, "Russian Roulette," debuted last month.

Reaction to "Russian Roulette?" Kinda dark. The track opens with a rhythmic heartbeat, alternating, scary-movie staccato piano lines and Rihanna's breathy voice. Sample lyric: "So just pull the trigger/As my life flashes before my eyes/I'm wondering will I ever see another sunrise." It ends with a woman's drawn breath and a gun shot. This ain't your Umbrella-toting, Shia-dating Rihanna of yesteryear, folks. (Wall Street Journal)

Rihanna's Rated R is slated to land in stores Monday, November 23rd via Def Jam.
