Rihanna Gets "Rated R" With Young Jeezy, Album Track Listing Revealed
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna's Rated R track listing has landed online and shows a limited amount of guest features by artists including Young Jeezy and The Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am.
Filled with 13 tracks, the track listing only displays three guest spots.
Rated R: Mad House, Wait Your Turn, Hard featuring Young Jeezy, Stupid In Love, ROCKSTAR 101 featuring Slash, Russian Roulette, Fire Bomb, Rude Boy, Photographs featuring will.i.am, G4L, Te Amo, Cold Case Love and The Last Song. (Ace Showbiz)
Songwriter Ne-Yo recently hyped Rihanna's comeback album.
"I've heard a good majority of the album...world, get ready," he said in an interview. "That's all I'm going to say. World, get ready...The best and safest way I can say this is that Rihanna has some stuff to say and she's going to say it and she ain't going to make no apologies for it." (MTV)
Her first single, "Russian Roulette," landed online last month.
Reaction to "Russian Roulette?" Kinda dark. The track opens with a rhythmic heartbeat, alternating, scary-movie staccato piano lines and Rihanna's breathy voice. Sample lyric: "So just pull the trigger/As my life flashes before my eyes/I'm wondering will I ever see another sunrise." It ends with a woman's drawn breath and a gun shot. This ain't your Umbrella-toting, Shia-dating Rihanna of yesteryear, folks. (Wall Street Journal)
Aside from music, RiRi will give her first televised interview since the publicized February domestic dispute with Chris Brown later this week.
Rihanna will sit down for a one-on-one interview for the first time since February this week. Booked to appear on ABC's "20/20" ahead of her anticipated appearance on the network's "Good Morning America" later this month, the "Russian Roulette" singer is expected to tell her side of the story weeks after Chris Brown's much-talked-about interview with "Larry King Live." Rated R is due in stores Monday, November 23rd via Def Jam Records.
