50 Cent Tours to Promote New Power Cologne


50 Cent will kick off a brief five-city tour today (November 5) at New York’s Macy’s Herald Square to celebrate the launch of his first cologne, Power, reports Thisis50.com.

Fif is also scheduled to appear at Macy’s stores in Atlanta, Chicago and San Francisco over the next week to promote the cologne, which will be sold exclusively through Macy’s this fall. The tour will end next Wednesday in Los Angeles.

A few days ago, 50 Cent took his directorial debut, Before I Self Destruct, on the road to 10 major cities across the U.S. The release date for his album of the same title has been pushed up to November 16, with the digital version available on November 9

Violence Erupts at Akon Concert, 18 People Injured

Eighteen people were injured at an Akon concert in Melbourne, Australia last night (October 26) after more than 50 people rushed security guards to gain access to the concert venue. According to ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) News, eight of the 18 people injured in the incidents that occurred both inside and outside Melbourne Park had to be rushed to the hospital. Although many fans were involved in the brawls only one 21-year-old man has been charged with assault so far. Kon reportedly walked into the crowd to try to stop fans from fighting. Kanye West has displayed his interest in Lil Wayne's upcoming The Carter documentary by placing its trailer and labeling the Young Money rapper as a true rock star on his popular blog. Writing via his daily blog, Yeezy inked a brief mention of Wayne's new documentary. "FEW WILL EVER LIVE THE LIFE OF A TRUE ROCK STAR," Ye wrote Sunday (November 8). "WAYNE IS ONE OF THE FEW."
