Rihanna's Chris Brown Remarks Released, "He Was Definitely My First Big Love"

Building up its anticipation for Rihanna's first publicized interview since her domestic dispute with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown last February, ABC has released excerpts from this week's sit down.

Shown speaking with reporter Diane Sawyer, Rihanna touches on her past relationship with Brown.

"He was definitely my first big love," she told Sawyer. The incident resulted in the couple's seemingly fairytale relationship being shattered and Brown being sentenced to community labor, five years of probation and one year of domestic-violence counseling. "...This happened to me...it can happen to anyone," Rihanna said. During the in-depth interview, Rihanna also talks candidly about growing up in Barbados, her family life and how she has been doing over the last nine months. (ABC News)

The interview will be aired on Thursday (November 5).

Rihanna will sit down for a one-on-one interview for the first time since February this week. Booked to appear on ABC's "20/20" ahead of her anticipated appearance on the network's "Good Morning America" later this month, the "Russian Roulette" singer is expected to tell her side of the story weeks after Chris Brown's much-talked-about interview with "Larry King Live." Her appearance was also been confirmed by ABC.

The network has confirmed her scheduled appearance on its "Good Morning America" and "20/20" through a less than one minute promo video. Rihanna will first appear in "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. on Thursday, November 5. Then, the following day she will come to "20/20" at 10/9c. The songstress herself hasn't addressed the report just yet. (Ace Showbiz)

The singer is also promoting her upcoming album, Rated R.

PopEater is proud to exclusively premiere the cover for her impending album, Rated R. The grainy black-and-white cover shows the R&B queen draped in hand jewelry and covering one eye. The Rated R cover was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who says that "Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album." Von Unwerth goes on to say that Rihanna is "so beautiful, sweet and tough at the same time -- and a pleasure to shoot," adding that she's "fantastic to work with -- very giving, very creative, very involved in every aspect of the shoot, and ready to push the boundaries."
