Lil Scrappy On Jay-Z/Beanie Sigel Dispute, "When You Go Against One Another, You Really Don't Make No Money"

Scrappy thinks that artists having issues with one another on the same label tend to have difficulty calling a truce.

"You can't," Scrappy said about avoiding inner label beefs. "Everybody got their own ego, everybody got their own manhood, everybody got their own. Even, some people don't know they're haters and they end up hating the other dude, you feel me? For no reason, hating them because he got so much swag. Or he's hating because he's doing better than the last dude so there's always gonna be haters everywhere you go, even on the label. If there's haters in church then there's gonna be haters on the label, there's gonna be haters in the courtroom, there's gonna be haters on the label. There's haters everywhere, you got people that's putting out your music that hate you, so sh*t, that's hard...If you a real gangsta, cuz, you tell the n*gga to go meet you somewhere. Whatever we gonna do, let's do it and be done with it. If you 'not' gonna do it, then make that joint big. Get some money off of it 'cause when you going against each other, you really don't make no money, 'cause his fans don't like you and the other dude, his fans don't like you. So they would have bought [your merchandise] if y'all weren't even beefing."

Trillville's Don P previously spoke on why his issues with Scrappy became publicized in 2005.

"At first I wasn't gonna do it," he said in an interview. "Scrappy came out with a mixtape, and everybody was telling me about it. I just looked up one day and this n*ggaa got a mixtape talking about all kinds of crazy sh*t. Talking about I got extensions in my hair, just a bunch of lies and sh*t, bunch of fantasy sh*t. So I say, well if he wanna come at me on some fantasy sh*t, then I'ma show the world some real sh*t." (All Hip Hop)

Scrappy recently explained how his issues with former boss, Lil Jon, led to his move to Ludacris' Distrubin' Tha Peace record label.

"[Luda's manager] Chaka [Zulu] was a fan," Scrappy explained in an interview. "Every time we would pass each other, they always showed love, I always showed love...And then one day, they didn't hear me anymore. So they were like, 'We have the machine that he needs.' My whole problem is that I was never with a good machine. Everybody thought I was with a good machine just because Lil Jon was doing his thing when I first came out. But Jon was only worried about Jon. And when Lil Jon fell off, he didn't worry about helping nobody else." (VIBE)

Roc-A-Fella co-founder Dame Dash also said rap conflicts like Jay and Beans should be avoided.

"I love Jay, I love Beans -- what's the reason for beef?" Dash said in an interview. "That's stupid. What's the reason for beef? People die, people don't feel good -- I want people to laugh...I was hurt for him, more or less, because I know that ain't him. But I don't want to speak on that. Whatever [Beanie's] going through where he's got to do that...I could understand where he may look at things and feel that way. I can see that. He's probably got a lot of people around him and nobody to really tell him what's going on. It was a different environment for Roc-A-Fella back then. I feel bad for those cats. I love those cats. I hate that they struggle. I hate it. I hate to see anybody struggle. I don't embrace that. I'm not one of those dudes that get happy when I hear something bad about somebody I had a bond with. I really loved those dudes." (MTV)

Lil Wayne Says, "If I Were President I Would Make Prostitution Legal In About 5 More States"

Footage from Lil Wayne's upcoming The Carter documentary has landed online and shows the Grammy-winning rapper imagining himself as the president of the United States of America.

As prez, Weezy declared all of the changes he would make within America.

"I would put cocaine back in Coca-Cola, I would put that back," Weezy said in a clip from the documentary. "[laughs] I think I'd get love for that. I'd take off all bad substances from sports, so there would be no more steroids [restrictions]. So you could use whatever steroid or hormone to grow you want, as long as you hitting homeruns, it's fine with me. I would make prostitution legal in about five more states, gambling too. And you know I would legalize weed, first and second and I would put a law to it that there's no more child support and there's no more, what they call that stuff when you get married, the little pre-nup, you ain't got to sign that because she don't get nothing. Because marriage, that don't mean nothing because she lay with you for a lot of years she gotta get something? I been laying with a lot of b*tches too these whole times. So, I'd change that..." (The Carter)

Weezy's film was previously delayed, however, it will now be released next week.

QD3 Entertainment is finally going to release their film on rockstar rapper Lil Wayne to the public. They debuted it at this year's Sundance Film Festival and reports say the film was well received. After the debut, they met with some resistance from Wayne as he wasn't too happy about some of the footage found in the film. However, that has been cleared up and as a result the documentary is set to hit retailers on November 17, 2009. (Examiner)

Writing via his daily blog, Kanye West recently inked a brief mention of Wayne's new documentary.

"FEW WILL EVER LIVE THE LIFE OF A TRUE ROCK STAR," Ye wrote Sunday (November 8). "WAYNE IS ONE OF THE FEW." (Kanye West's Blog)

According to Quincy Jones III, the film will also show Wayne's dedication to music around the release of his multiple platinum-selling Tha Carter III in 2008.

"The main thing that the documentary shows -- I think a lot of people would imagine that Wayne is hanging out in clubs with a bunch of women and drinking champagne and that sort of thing. But I would say the main thing you learn when you watch the film is that Wayne is a workaholic. Straight up. After seeing this I think a lot of people will respect his process a lot more. We were with him like seven or eight months before he went platinum and then maybe two months after." (Hip Hop Wired)

The Carter will be released on Tuesday, November 17th.

B.G. Explains Hot Boys Reunion Delay, "Lil Wayne's Got To Face The Music With His Situation"

Hot Boys' B.G. recently discussed his take on the delayed reunion with fellow group members Lil Wayne, Juvenile and Turk, suggesting their current legal woes have placed production on a temporary hold.

From B.G.'s perspective, Wayne's upcoming one-year jail bid on a gun charge is the biggest factor delaying their reunion.

"I know I got my own personal dealings to deal with, as far as with the system and things of that nature," Gizzle explained in an interview. "I know Wayne's got to face the music with his situation with the system. But we got time. We got a whole bunch of time to put the album together. We record quick. We already got songs done. But I look at it like, if we record from now until whoever gets sentenced or however it go, we still wouldn't be able to put the album out until [Wayne] comes home. When shorty comes home, I know he'll wanna record a whole 'nother album. So you might have a double Hot Boys CD. You never know. I don't know how it will work out." (MTV)

Juvenile recently said if they did not come together for an album in 2010, fans could still expect to hear Hot Boys music.

"I talk to Baby now and everything is okay," Juve explained in an interview. "Everything is going really well. We plan on doing a Hot Boys album next year some time and if we don't do it, I can definitely guarantee you that we're definitely going to be making a lot of songs together." (All Hip Hop)

Juve recently said the four-member crew have been prepared to re-join forces for quite some time.

"I like this question, I like this question," Juvie admitted. "I've been talking to Baby, man. I've talked to Baby, he's real behind doing the Hot Boys album thing. He done came at me three times but the whole thing was and I wanna be truthful to everybody, it was me and him talking. Me and Wayne was cool. Me and B.G. was cool, all of us was cool but I really had to talk to Baby. We had to put everything out on the table and settle our differences and that was something we'd never done. And I can honestly say it's been done now so y'all can definitely be looking forward to that album. It's coming. It's confirmed [laughs] I got a check already. I always say that when people ask like, 'Man, they already paid me on the Hot Boys album,' so you know, with me, I'm already in. It's just a matter of everybody else being in. I don't think it would be right if we left Mannie Fresh out. Don't you think? He was the producer, he did all the music for Hot Boys, so we gotta have him involved, if he don't do the whole album [then] he gotta do something on there."

Wayne's plea deal on felony gun possession and drug charges was confirmed in late October.

Lil Wayne has pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession, and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence. He previously had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 1/2 years in prison upon conviction. His trial had been due to start Jan. 20. (Associated Press)

Mase Wants Chris Brown Collaboration Record, "Let's Do A Smash!"

Showing his return to rap is more than hype, Mase has begun reaching out to artists for collaborations, including Chris Brown, in hopes of recording over 75 songs by February.

Writing via Twitter, the Bad Boy Entertainment protege also announced plans to release a new mixtape next week.

"@MechanicalDummy lets do a smash," Mase wrote to Chris Brown's Twitter account on Thursday (November 12). "@Mattd8 The tape is being dropped internationally and nationally next friday I DO THE IMPOSSIBLE...5 different DJ -> one in London, Canada, China, Korea and the US...The tape is being dropped internationally and nationally next friday I DO THE IMPOSSIBLE..The tape will be hosted by 5 different DJs -> one in London, Canada, China, Korea and the US...I want to do 75 records with people by Valentine Day... I want the record of the most features that were amazing... didn't say I had a hot mixtape I said I want my day one dudes back I'm tired of dealing with people I don't know --> thats all." (Mase's Twitter)

Diddy reportedly released Mase from his Bad Boy contract last month.

"It took me ten years to get this paperwork right here," Mase said in an interview. "I had to put this in UPS with a seal on it. I don't even know what I'ma put out now. Oh my goodness. We good, we good. This is Mase, I got my official papers right here from Puff Daddy, it was love, so I guess we don't have no problems after all. I don't even know how to take that. I'm ain't used to Puff doing good stuff." (Shuddup)

Despite the hype, hip-hop personality Miss Info later detailed the terms of his contract release.

UPDATE: Ok, so my insider tells me....that signature wasn't on a contract release form...it was basically an appearance release form. Basically, Diddy is allowing Mase to appear on songs with other artists. He is not freeing Mase from his contractual obligations to Bad Boy. But this is a start, because Mase already has a big feature in the works, as well as a potential home at Interscope.....which would work out well in terms of those old contractual obligations because Diddy is already over at Interscope as well. (Miss Info)

Despite having a close connection with 50 Cent back in 2005, the G-Unit leader recently said he no longer had an interest in signing the rapper to his record label.

"I'm cool with Mase, but, right now is different," 50 explained in an interview with reporter Gina Torres. "That was a different time period and a different thing going on. I can always go and make the Kanye West album because Kanye is doing Mase. Not from a Harlem perspective, the rap style that he's using, I bet if you asked him he would tell you he's doing him, his way but it's that style. And Mase, he rap his a** off, it's a gift. I think anything that changes too fast may be no good and Mase's decision was so abrupt that he can't actually stay in one pocket, he kinda flip flopped. He confuses me, that's worse than [confusing] the audience. I'm pretty easy with understanding what the actual situation is." (All Hip Hop)

50 Cent Calls Out Jay-Z, Game Reps G-Unit & Fabolous Hates Joe Budden's Rebound Chick

In this week's Pulse Report, we're covering the past seven days to peep 50 Cent blatantly dissing Jay-Z, check out why Mobb Deep got dropped but Game is still signed to G-Unit Records, laugh at Fabolous Twee-stroying Joe Budden's new jump off

So Disrespectful

D*mn, I guess we should have taken a cue from those interviews, but f*ck, 50, really? Granted, we all know I called this sh*t a few Pulse Reports ago, but to see your favorite G-Unit leader cashing in on Beanie Sigel's "pain" by putting some marketing dollars together, letting Beans murk a dope a** collaboration track, "I Go Off," and then just to hear 5-0 pull a "Try Me" move on Jay "I Performed At The World Series Game 2" Z?

"Yeah, you changed man," 50 says toward the song's completion. "You let the money change you, Jay. You used to be from Marcy, [Brooklyn] n*gga. Now you a pass the Grey Poupon a** n*gga. You don't want the shooter? I'll take him. [laughs] N*gga, feed the wolves or else the wolves feed off you. Eat your a** alive! I live by a combat's creed. Strategy. Your move, n*gga."

Look, I'm not going to completely side with Jay because this is all politics at the end of the day, but d*mn, if his Before I Self Destruct wasn't already out, maybe I could respect this move instead of thinking it's some punk sh*t. The biggest surprise here is that people aren't even amazed at how f*cking insane Beans is on the song but how 5-0 just kills it by having to have the last word. SMFH. So "this" is the nightmare, huh? I can just imagine what Jay is thinking right now. But looking deeper than that, y'all need to pay attention to what Beans is spitting:

"Won't stop 'til your box lowered to the ground / put you in a urn, your bones are burn / The rap gorilla, the wack rap ringtone killa, I'm here / to find a n*gga equally realer is rare / you could meet me in the square if you dare to come near / I have no morals."

Rihanna, Kanye West & Jamie Foxx Request Soulja Boy's, "My Portfolio Is Only Getting Longer"

Teen rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em has revealed that Kanye West, Rihanna and Jamie Foxx have requested his production for their new records.

Soulja Boy also explained his studio process working alongside Yeezy.

"Him showing me a lot of stuff I didn't know [and] me showing him a lot of stuff he didn't know," Soulja Boy described about their in-studio relationship. "He had an ear for my sound. Of course I had an ear for all the stuff he did. Genius! ... It was three different samples that we was working on. On one of them, he was like, 'I want this to go here, I want you to do this.' I like when an artist pushes me how he was pushing me. He doesn't go easy on me...I was in the studio with [Foxx] a couple of days ago working on a new beat for him. All the artists that reached out to me for beats -- like Rihanna -- my portfolio is only getting longer and longer. With this particular [RiRi] project [it was] like, 'Whoa!' because [her rep was] like, 'Yo, I need you to do something for Rihanna's album. You got 11 hours. Go!' It was like, 'What? I'm all out of pocket.' How do you make something that's gonna be a number one hit so fast? But it's been done before because I made 'Crank That' in 30 minutes." (MTV)

The rapper also revealed new records with Drake last month.

"Of course the work relationship is gonna be mutual," Soulja Boy said about Ye. "My work ethic is crazy and of course his work ethic is crazy. Kanye ain't even in the country right now and he still trying to work. Like I got some sh*t coming with him, me and Drake that's gonna be stuuupid. Some sh*t with me and Drake leaked earlier this week but we just planning on taking the music sh*t to the next level." (XXL Mag)

He previously discussed his aim to recruit high profile artists like Eminem and Jay-Z for The DeAndre Way.

"Maybe after I put [Lil] Wayne on this album and we make something historical, me and Kanye work together and make something historical, and me and Drake spit something hot as h*ll together, I think that's what's going to determine the future -- I think I have a better chance of getting Eminem on my album than Jay-Z. I don't know nothin' about Jay-Z, but I'm affiliated with Eminem 'cause we on the same label and I know a lot of people that know him." (Rap-Up)

Speaking with radio personality Miss Info last June, the rapper detailed his aim to gather rap stars for his new solo project.

"I done worked with everybody that I wanna work with so far," Soulja Boy said in an interview. "But going into my third album, I already got Lil Wayne on deck. I just hollered at Kanye when I was in Cali. Working with Snoop Dogg. Me and Kanye, it's just an honor to work with him. He done been in the game so many years even for him to be under Jay-Z. And if I get a chance to work with Jay-Z and Kanye that'd be crazy, way out on another level." (Miss Info)

No details on when The DeAndre Way will drop have been released as of now.

Chris Brown Publicly Addresses Rihanna, "I Was Wrong For What I Did"

Chris Brown has addressed his publicized domestic dispute with ex-girlfriend Rihanna on a special airing of BET's "106 & Park" this week.

Brown took the televised opportunity to once again apologize to his fans and display regret.

Taped earlier this week, Brown's return to the infamous set where he has both performed and premiered videos, will include an interview with "106 & Park" co-host Rocsi. Reviewing the past year with Rocsi, Brown, at one point, says "...with the situation...it's not something you could take lightly and not something you could push under the rug...it's a really serious situation and it's something that I regret and I wish I didn't do it." (Singers Room)

He also placed emphasis on being a non-violent person.

When Rocsi asked, "Do you think the punishment fits the crime?", Brown paused, and then spoke more of the public humiliation he has been suffering than he did of the actual court-ordered punishment. Brown made it clear that he was not his step-father and sent out a clear message to people who might be in relationships that involve domestic violence. "The choices and decisions you make will change your future," was part of his message. (Examiner)

Upon being asked about his thoughts on Rihanna's publicized interviews describing their fight, Brown said he wished she would have remained silent.

"I think, me personally, I can only be a man and just accept the fact that I was wrong for what I did and own up to the fact for what I done and accept the responsibility for what I done," he added. "Of course, I respect her decision, I personally wanted to keep the situation private, but at the end of the day, it's her decision...I think what people kinda got the wrong notion of is that I use my smile and my laughter to -- block how I'm feeling. Even If I'm at the worst part of my life, I'm just gonna smile -- I can see now -- I don't know if I smile or what not how people are gonna take it, I just smile -- to kinda smooth it over. I'm definitely remorseful by all means." (Dime Wars)

Brown previously released a statement regarding Rihanna's interview last weekend.

"While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us," he said in the statement. "I do appreciate her support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well. Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God." (Rap Radar)

Game, N.O.R.E. & Skillz React To Gucci Mane's Prison Bid, "All The Homies Gettin' Locked The F*ck Up"

Game, N.O.R.E., Skillz and more have shared their reactions to yesterday's reports of Gucci Mane being sent to prison for reportedly violating his probation.

Game, who collaborated with Gucci on "Krazy" for his R.E.D. Album, described his frustration to the news.

"Gucci Mane gets a year in jail........," he wrote Thursday (November 12). "D*mn, all the homies gettin locked the F#$% up...... now that's 'Krazy' We gotta be a lil smarter in 2010 & stop givin these pigs (not a racist comment) reasons to kill our shine. At least my n*gga Shyne out." (Game's Twitter)

N.O.R.E. reflected on the numerous rappers already behind bars.

"More rappers getting locked up makes me wish I wAs a blogger cause they def don't go to jail!!!," he wrote. "Atlantic records TI locked up B.g. Got locked up 2 Lil boosie locked up Gucci Locked up Something weird here!!!!" (N.O.R.E.'s Twitter)

Skillz took a more critical and speculation-based approach with his reaction.

"I cant 4 d life of me figure out how these fools think they above the law," he explained. "Then get sentimental when them bars close. classic..i dnt get it I mean...if u smoke crack...its a good chance u will bcome a crackhead. Dog? Its rainin outside..go out there& u'll prolly get WET! f*kker...Talking about Free Pookie?? Dawg?? Pookie knew WTF he was doing!!! Talking about Free Pookie?? Dawg?? Pookie knew WTF he was doing!!!" (Skillz's Twitter)

Radio personality Charlamagne Tha God was direct with his reflection.

"@mrdaveyd Gucci is not on a plantation," he reasoned. "Gucci is a reflection of his generation. That's who he is that's why people relate. @mrdaveyd If you gonna be upset, be upset @ society. Now Wayne I don't f*ck w/ him, cause that is not him he's selling to the youth. @mrdaveyd its and image created by the machine. I know a million dudes and chicks just like Gucci they just not rapping. @mrdaveyd I agree that's why Gucci and Wayne are going to jail. They've been hit w/ the reality of there lifestyle." (Charlamagne Tha God's Twitter)

Gucci was reportedly given his one-year sentence Thursday afternoon.

Gucci Mane has been sent back to Fulton County Jail in Atlanta for probation violation. Sources close to the Atlanta rapper say Gucci attended a court hearing earlier today to determine whether or not he'd have to serve time for an unspecified infraction that violated the conditions of his probation. He was sentenced to 12 months, but could end up serving only six with good behavior. This doesn't mark the first time Gucci violates his probation. The rapper was sent to the same jail for only completing 25 out of a required 600 hours of community service in relation to a prior assault charge. (BET)

Kanye West Blasted At "Country Music Awards" Show, "Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Kanye"

Kanye West was mocked at this week's Country Music Awards as numerous performers took center stage to poke fun at the rapper's infamous VMA '09 incident with "Entertainer Of The Year" winner Taylor Swift.

The event's hosts, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, kicked off the taunts with a duet.

The singers took a swipe at the rapper when they opened the awards ceremony with the song, "Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys." "Mama, don't let your babies grow up to be Kanye," they sang. "Let 'em pick guitars and drive 'em ol' trucks. Cowboys have manners, they don't interrupt." (New York Daily News)

He was also mocked by country singer Little Jimmy Dickens.

Later on in the show, as Paisley began to talk about his video "Welcome To The Future," and thank the production team, 88 year-old country legend Little Jimmy Dickens walked out onstage and grabbed the mic. "Excuse me! Excuse me sir ... I'll let you finish later," Dickens said, "Now Brad Paisley, I know you had a nice video and all that, but Taylor Swift made the best video of all time!" (VIBE)

Taylor Swift added to the jokes by thanking the audience for not pulling a "Kanye."

"I want to thank every single person tonight for not running up on stage during my speech," Taylor said when accepting Female Vocalist of the Year title, poking at Kanye West for what he did on the stage of 2009 MTV VMAs. (Ace Showbiz)

She playfully teased Yeezy during her hosting slot of last week's "Saturday Night Live."

In her opening "Monologue Song (La, La, La)," SNL host Taylor Swift sang, "You might think I might say/something bad about Kanye/and how he ran up on the stage and ruined my VMA monologue/but there's nothing more to say/because everything's okay/I've got security lining the stage." Having finished the song, she announced, "We have a great show. Kanye West is not here." (Entertainment Weekly)

50 Cent Fires Shots At Jay-Z On Beanie Sigel Collabo, "You A Pass The Grey Poupon Ass Nigga"

50 Cent and Beanie Sigel's highly-anticipated "I Go Off" collaboration record has landed online the night prior to its official release and features the G-Unit leader taking shots at Jay-Z.

While not wasting any bars to speak on Hov, Fif weighs in his personal thoughts toward Beans' former associate at the end of the song.

"Yeah, you changed man," 50 says toward the song's completion. "You let the money change you, Jay. You used to be from Marcy, [Brooklyn] nigga. Now you a pass the Grey Poupon ass nigga. You don't want the shooter? I'll take him. [laughs] Nigga, feed the wolves or else the wolves feed off you. Eat your a** alive! I live by a combat's creed. Strategy. Your move, nigga." ("I Go Off")

A teaser clip of the song landed online late Wednesday (November 11) night.

"I'll give you something to talk about / come around me fronting, I'll air you out / I go off," 50 harmonizes at the beginning of the song atop a drum-heavy, winded production. "I don't shoot sh*t off, dog, I gun it down / walk up on niggas and run them down / pull a stock out the K, throw a hundred rounds," Beanie rhymes with conviction. The eight bars conclude with the Broad Street Bully menacing, "Won't stop 'til your box lowered to the ground / put you in a urn, your bones are burn / The rap gorilla, the wack rap ringtone killa, I'm here / to find a nigga equally realer is rare / you could meet me in the square if you dare to come near / I have no morals." (Billboard)

Their track has generated an online buzz with its release initial set for Friday (November 13).

Beanie Sigel Featuring 50 Cent "I Go Off" will debut on ThisIs50.com exclusively. Be sure to check for the collaboration track on Friday, November 13th when the nightmare begins! (This Is 50)

Sigel and 50 hinted at a joint venture during an interview earlier this month.

Sigel joined 50 towards the end of an on-air interview with "The Hot Boyz" Mikey Dredd and Uncle O, leading to a candid ten minute conversation. During the interview, 50 and Beans revealed that "Beans is coming to G-Unit," with no additional details as to how soon the new partnership might yield an album or single. (All Hip Hop)

Gucci Mane Sentenced to One Year In Prison for Probation Violation

Gucci Mane is back behind bars. According to MTV, the Atlanta rapper was sentenced to a year in prison for violating the terms of his probation earlier today (November 12).

The popular MC—whose appropriately titled album The State Vs. Radric Davis is set to drop on December 8—was handcuffed and taken into custody following a court appearance this afternoon. He will most likely only have to serve six months of his sentence, if he displays good behavior. As of press time it is unknown what terms Gucci failed to abide by to cause a judge to send him back to jail.

Gucci recently served a similar six-month stint behind bars last September after he failed to perform 600 hours of community service. During that time he earned his buzz in the streets, which led him to score several big name collaborations, including songs with the Black Eyed Peas, Mariah Carey and Mario, among others.

As previously reported, La Flare recently leaked a song off his upcoming disc addressing his beef with fellow Atlanta MC Young Jeezy.

50 Cent Files Suit Against WorldStarHipHop

50 Cent is suing popular video Web site worldstarhiphop.com.

According to fox8live.com, Fif is taking action over the site’s unauthorized usage of his image plastered across their homepage. He claims that the photo is misleading, causing many visitors to think that he owns the site.

“I got a lawsuit against WorldStar for utilizing my likeness,” the G-Unit leader said in a recent interview in Atlanta. “A lot of people felt like that was my site because they saw my face on the cover of (the Web site) for a long time.”

“I have lawyers on retainers and I have to pay them so much money anyway, so we’ll go back and forth to court until (they) can’t afford a Subway sandwich,” he continued. “It’s already too late for (them).”

50’s latest disc, Before I Self Destruct, is currently available on iTunes. The physical copy hits shelves on Monday (November 16).

Fabolous Goes At Joe Budden's New Girlfriend, "Keep My Name Outta Tahiry's Vagina..."

Fabolous has shown no signs of dying down his Twitter voice as of late by now calling out Joe Budden's new girlfriend, Somaya Reece, in a number of playful yet hard-hitting taunts.

Comparing Reece to Budden's ex, Tahiry, Fabolous "responded" to comments made by the model.

"Did this rebound a** chick jus make a joke about my teeth?? @somaya_reece keep my name outta Tahiry's v*gina, i mean ur mouth! POW!," Fab playfull wrote Tuesday morning (November 10). "Time 2 expose this 2nd place chick Somaya Reece... So she know not throw people names out without knowing the consequences... #Somayareeceis Tahiry but the sequel... #Somayareeceis a stuntman 4 Joe Budden's real girlfriend... RT @SessioniZill: #Somayareeceis about to remix Pleasure P's joint.. "Girlfriend Number 2"... I bet #Somayareeceis havin 2nd thoughts about f*ckin wit me... #Somayareeceis gonna go 2 Yankee games next year wit a Derek Jeter #2 jersey!" (Fabolous' Twitter)

Budden's latest girlfriend sat next to the rapper and declared her loyalty toward him during a recent blogcast.

"Don't worry because there's nothing to worry about," Reece said during a Budden blogcast. "And I know the feeling because I'm an artist too, when you're going through something, it does reflect on your music. But there's no need to worry about that anymore. Somaya Reece is in the building...Regardless though, with music, whether it's depressing -- the fact that you have an honest artist like Joe, is something that is very rare. And it's something you don't really see out there...Everybody is making ridiculously stupid music and I'm not gonna name names -- am I lying to you guys? I will be good to Joe, always. I am a very traditional woman. I take care of my man." (World Star Hip Hop)

Budden previously aired out his issues with Tahiry in a blog chat last month.

"My life is pretty routine and predictable," Budden said during a blog broadcast. "i don't need much, I'm not controlling, I'm not jealous, I'm not insecure, I'm not any of the things that Tahiry would say that I am. I'm like cool as a fan -- the really sad part about my entire five-year relationship that I am just now getting out of, you can call it arrogant, you can call it cocky, you can call it whatever the f*ck you want to call it, I was ready to marry my significant other. Let me just say that. Thank the f*cking lord above that that did not happen...It would have been a whole lot worse if I had married Tahiry. I went from being ready to settle down -- and now that I am outside of that relationship, it's easy to see that I spent five years settling." (JoeBuddenTV)

In addition to their current stance, Tahiry recently said she had a skit on Fab's 2001 debut, Ghetto Fabolous.

"I don't remember, but it's something in Spanish like 'What do you want with me? I don't wanna have nothing to do with you,'" Tahiry said about her skit on Fab's debut album. "I was probably a senior in high school or a freshman in college. It was cool, they should have cut me a check because it went platinum, didn't he? [laughs] I'm just kidding, it felt good, it was just an experience...We pretty much were young love from -- he pretty much had his foot in the door and you know, we had just met, 'Super Woman' comes out and he gets bigger and bigger and I was around for the process, going to school and working and we were around each other often and then we both went our separate ways...We cut it short a couple years ago and we're still friends. No hard feelings, we were young...We're still cool." (Vlad TV)

DMX's Tax Problems Exposed, Rapper Owes $1.5 Million

Rapper Earl "DMX" Simmons has had his tax problems exposed as new reports show the former Def Jam artist owing roughly $1.5 million to the IRS and New York state.

The rapper's tax details show him owing various payments to the government.

The IRS filed a $442,869 lien against DMX and his wife on Jan. 2 in the New York City Register's office. The IRS filed a $663,554 lien against DMX on Sept. 10, 2007, in the Maricopa County (Ariz.) He recently was replaced by rap veteran Coolio to take part in his pre-planned Alabama Pride mixed martial arts fight next month.

Thunder Productions tells TMZ they have signed Coolio to the upcoming celebrity boxing match scheduled to take place in Alabama next month. They tell us Coolio has been much easier to deal with and "he is going to take this seriously." X had previously agreed to the bout, but only on the condition he was guaranteed to win. (TMZ)

X previously spoke on his anticipation to fight at the event during a radio interview last month.

"We got a phone call asking if I wanted to participate in it," X said about how the opportunity presented itself. "I'm just gonna walk in as it is man, you know what I mean? It wouldn't be fair if I trained. I think it's three two-minute rounds...[My opponent] is shorter than me and I think he weighs a little more than me. I'm 175, six feet. I got a little build on me, you know what I'm saying? I've seen him, yeah I've seen him. He's a nice guy -- when I agreed to it, I didn't know it was gonna be him...I'm going to pick one of my own songs [to walk out with.] 'What's My Name.' I'm in the studio everyday banging joints out -- I got the pens and the paper. [New album] hopefully first quarter." (106.7 The Fan)

Former Def Jam labelmate Method Man was recently arrested on tax evasion charges in early October.

Grammy Award-winning hip-hop star Method Man turned himself in to authorities this morning after failing to pay nearly $33,000 in back personal taxes, officials said. The Wu Tang member -- whose real name is Clifford Smith -- walked into the Staten Island DA's office at about 8 a.m. to face felony charges in connection with neglecting to pay $32,799 dating back to 2004. Lloyd Banks & Tony Yayo On Beanie Sigel Possibly Joining G-Unit, "There's A Big Bag Of Money Coming"

After recent talks of former Roc-A-Fella artist Beanie Sigel joining G-Unit Records, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo shared their reactions on the possibility of the rapper signing with 50 Cent.

Banks says he has respect for Beans, however, he is not sure if the rapper has signed any contracts with Fif as of now.

"Ah man, I don't know the ends and outs on that, you know what I mean" Banks admitted in an interview. "[Yayo] will tell you what it is, ask him. [laughs] You're trying to get us to spill beans. We don't know! Shout-out to Beanie Sigel, you know, shout-out to Freeway, all my Philly heads." (The Life Files)

Tony Yayo also revealed his lack of knowledge on Beans' G-Unit standing.

"I don't know man," Yayo added. "I'm not saying nothing, I just know there's a big bag of money coming. When it comes, you will know. Shout-out to Beans though." (The Life Files)

Continuing to ignite hype and speculation, 50 has been promoting a forthcoming single with the Philadelphia-based rapper called "I Go Off."

Beanie Sigel Featuring 50 Cent "I Go Off" will debut on ThisIs50.com exclusively. Be sure to check for the collaboration track on Friday, November 13th when the nightmare begins! (This Is 50)

Fif recently explained why he was not in a rush to sign Beans to G-Unit.

"I had a meeting with him today," 50 said in an interview. "First we gotta start with the music -- where's the music? Then we have to get into what it would take to bring him over to G-Unit as a record company. You can't sign a deal in a conversation -- it's a process. We'll see what happens. I would listen to what he has. His skills haven't diminished. Nine times out of 10, he'll have something workable already on deck. When you're dealing with artists who have been established longer than you, it's a process. You have to figure out exactly where they are at before you commit to being a part of those projects, because they have habits and they've been conditioned for something different. You have to figure out exactly what that is before you dive in." (MTV)

50 Cent recently updated fans on the status of G-Unit Records and explained why his associates Mobb Deep are no longer on the label and revealed Young Buck and Game's Unit status.
Click here to find out more!

According to 50, ex-Unit members Buck and Game are still under contract with his company.

"As far as the rest of the roster, of course the original G-Unit as a group are gonna stay together," Fif promised in an interview. "That's myself, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks and on the actual label, G-Unit Records as a roster, I let Prodigy and Havoc go off the label because P had to get extra money before he went into jail. And Havoc just had idle time while P was gone because he didn't work as often as P does. M.O.P. was kinda just waiting for me to do it for them...Hot Rod and Spider Loc are still technically signed to G-Unit Records...Buck is still signed to G-Unit Records, hopefully he can come up with a record. If he can come up with a song, we can get my money back, you know what I'm saying? I hope he can come up with something right quick. I'm looking forward to that check at least. They gotta pay me not to put the [G-Unit] logo on it." (This Is 50)

Buck recently spoke on his two G-Unit releases, Welcome To Cashville and Buck The World.

"I won't say that I'm perfect or that I've done everything right out of this situation but I've done more right than wrong," Buck said in an interview. "I'm man enough to admit my wrongs and correct [them]...It was a phase in my life that came and went and it was good while it lasted but right now it's about Buck...The second album is what they call the sophomore jinx, it's traditional that most artists' second record's numbers are lower than their first's numbers...I'm still considered a platinum artist. My first album went beyond platinum, second one gold." (All Hip Hop)

Buck's dismissal from G-Unit was made public when 50 announced his decision last year on New York radio station Hot 97's now-defunct "Miss Jones in the Morning" program.

"You can look at it and see that's Game all the way," Fif said in the interview. "I was giving him a chance, giving him the benefit of the doubt. You can take this as an official notice right here, pretty much you can say, Young Buck is no longer in the group G-Unit, but signed to G-Unit [Records] as a solo artist." ("The Miss Jones Morning Show")

Fif recently discussed what the chances were of signing Beanie Sigel to G-Unit Records.

"I had a meeting with him today," 50 said in . "First we gotta start with the music -- where's the music? Then we have to get into what it would take to bring him over to G-Unit as a record company. You can't sign a deal in a conversation -- it's a process. We'll see what happens. I would listen to what he has. His skills haven't diminished. "I start off with so much malice in my heart when the record kicks in," Snoop explained in an interview. "By the time I get to the end of the record, I'm in Wonderland. I'm feeling good about life. I'm celebrating, happy about my wife, my kids, life in general. It's just a roller coaster of what I'm going through as I speak. I've always juggled the line, 'Should I make a gangster record? 'Cause I could kill all you rappers if I wanted to,' [and] then I have to sit back and say, 'I'm a business, so I'm gonna make records that can help me in this business.' I have to make radio records, but when I don't care, y'all in trouble." (MTV)

Snoop recently hit the road with Method Man & Redman to promote the project.

Dogg announces his latest tour featuring hip hop greats Method Man, Redman and Devin the Dude. The tour, titled Wonderland High School Tour, is a bonafide hip hop lover's dream and will kick off on October 27th in Baltimore and travel across North America. Priority's genre-defining catalog includes classic recordings by Snoop, as well as from N.W.A, Eazy-E, Master P, Ice Cube, Westside Connection, EPMD and others. (Press Release)

Jay-Z Hints At Child With Beyonce, Rapper Reportedly "Ready" For Baby

Jay-Z has reportedly hinted that he is ready to have his first child with wife and R&B singer, Beyonce Knowles.

While details are scarce, the rapper reportedly revealed his baby hopes in a recent interview.

Her song "Single Ladies" is an Internet hit among dancing babies and now, Beyoncé's working on a tot of her own. That's according to, get this, Jay-Z, B's notoriously tight-lipped hubby, who spilled the baby beans himself. While chatting up Gotham mag editor in chief Cristina Greeven Cuomo, the rapper let it slip that procreating is high on the duo's priority list right now. (New York Daily News)

Beyonce previously died down past talks of their aim to have a child together in the near future.

"I definitely want one, but I'm not ready for all of that," she said on "The View" last April. "I don't think a person should see that before her time. It was a little much. But I'm so in love with my nephew, and every time I see him I'm like, God, he's just amazing." ("The View")

Game previously taunted Jay for not being able to have children with Beyonce on the song, "I'm So Wavy."

"And I been hard to the core since I went solo," Game raps. "Only man on my horse like my all black polo...Got the camel in a choke hold/Tryin' to son me, I'm not from N-Y-C/You can't even have a child by your Destiny." ("I'm So Wavy")

Jay recently appeared on Oprah Winfrey's talk show and discussed the importance of keeping his marriage out of the media spotlight.

"When you live your life so out in the public, then your music and life are on display," Hov added. "You need to separate from it. You can't be in that light all the time. You need some type of escape from it. And that's one thing that's sacred and not in the public eye." ("The Oprah Winfrey Show")

50 Cent's "Before I Self Destruct" Lands No. 1 On iTunes

50 Cent's long-awaited Before I Self Destruct album has secured the top spot on the new digital records chart on iTunes today, a day after its online release.

According to a new report, Fif's album landed at No. 1 less than 24 hours after its release.

50 Cent's new album, Before I Self Destruct, which was yesterday exclusively on the iTunes Store, has already skyrocketed to the number one spot on iTunes' album chart. iTunes customers can purchase the album as a deluxe version with two exclusive tracks and iTunes LP, which includes 90-minute gritty coming-of-age film Before I Self Destruct, written, directed and starring Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent); the Two Turntables And A Microphone: The Life And Death Of Jam Master Jay documentary about 50 Cent's late mentor and friend, hip-hop pioneer Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC; exclusive photos; lyrics; animated package artwork and more for only $9.99. (Press Release)

Following up his "Baby By Me" single, Fif recently spoke about his second record, "Do You Think About Me."

"I was writing about the difference of how it felt when it was only about money once it got down to me dealing with the child-support situation," Fif explained about the song. "The friendship we had was forgotten. I believe people invest in each other and it's never even when you're in a relationship -- one person is loving harder than the other. When the expectations aren't being met, they kinda resent the other party. A lot of times they don't go from being boyfriend and girlfriend or to getting engaged or being married back to being friends. They kinda gotta part ways from each other because one still has feelings and one is ready to move on." (MTV)

The rapper recently spoke on how he felt about Before I Self Destruct leaking online nearly a month in advance.

"All you gotta do is get the response," Fif explained to radio personality Jenny Boom Boom. "The response is so well, so good, that I know the record is a hit. So whether the consumed it from actually purchasing it or they got it off the web or wherever they got it from, when they hear it and enjoy it, they end up at the show. How can I focus on album sales now when it's to the point where my record is released four weeks before schedule. The marketing, everything that's planned to sell the actual record, is happening four weeks late, now that the record is out a month early. You know, those things are happening after they had an opportunity to hear it and it's confirmation to the doubters that the record wouldn't be good." (Jenny Boom Boom TV)

He recently announced plans to move up his physical album's release date.

"I'm pushing the record up so the date is [November] 16th," Fif revealed in an interview. "It'll be out on the 16th. I'm expecting it to do good because of the response that I've heard from the web. You know what I mean? It's obvious they didn't expect me to write the things that I wrote on the actual record, but, I don't know why. They're like 'This sh*t is fire.' What are you surprised for, stupid? Even the worst one did 700,000 the first week. It depends on who you're actually asking because you know who I identify with now? The actual aggression of my material is what came across the strongest because they want the hardest sh*t from me." (G-Unit Radio)

Lil Boosie Violates Probation, Judge Doubles Jail Time

Lil Boosie is behind jail sooner than expected after failing to follow a judge’s instructions.

According to Louisiana news network, WAFB, the Baton Rouge rapper showed up in court on Monday (November 9) for violating the terms of his probation, and a judge sent him directly to jail when his electronic ankle monitor revealed numerous infractions.

As previously reported, Boosie copped a plea deal back in September for a drugs and weapons charge in 2008. In order to avoid trial in the case, he pled guilty and the judge agreed to only sentence him to two years, with him probably only having to serve one year on good behavior.

Now Boosie’s jail time has doubled, with him having to serve at least two years behind bars.

“I made some very foolish choices, but I was doing the best I could to provide for my family before I went away to jail,” he wrote in a statement. “Clearly I exercised terrible judgment and I hope to get the opportunity to prove that I can make great decisions for my family and the community in the future.”

The Asylum rapper was arrested in Baton Rogue on October 22, 2008 after authorities’ smelled marijuana coming from his car. Upon searching his vehicle, they found a firearm along with a bag of marijuana.

Although he will be spending the next two years locked up, a rep for his label assures fans he has several upcoming projects. Boosie recently put the finishing touches on the feature film: Ghetto Stories: The Movie due out early 2010 and has just wrapped shooting the DVD: Boosie The Last Days.

Lil Wayne On Drake's "Thank Me Later" Debut Album

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne recently updated fans on his Young Money artist Drake's Thank Me Later debut album progress and said the project is likely ready for release.

Wayne also briefly touched on the delayed Hot Boys reunion with Juvenile, B.G. and Turk.

"He's one of those guys who needs no help, [laughs] I don't do anything but say, 'Let me hear that song,'" Wayne explained about Drake. "And I'm blown away with every word. I'm honored to have him. Knowing Drake, I want to say he's probably finished with the project. But he's one of those guys who keeps going back to put more icing on the cake...I still agree with [the reunion] -- let's put it like that. There are four sides to this, and it's hard getting four sides to come to the table. But I still agree." (Billboard)

Drake recently touched on the importance of lyricism on his debut album.

"Lyrically, I want to keep the album as genuine and honest as 'Fear' is, but musically there will be a little more energy," he promised. "There will be more moments of triumph, because my life is the best it's ever been in my 22 years of existence. I want my music to reflect that, but I still want to be able to relate and connect with people. It's a good indication. There will obviously be some variation -- not every track is going to sound like that. I was actually going to save 'Fear' for the album, but I wanted to give people another reason to buy the [So Far Gone] EP...You've really got to come out and offer people something that's never been done before or something at a very high level. Take someone like Kanye West who produces, sings, writes and does fashion. He's beyond the full package. I think that's becoming requirement these days. You have to do everything." (Shock Hound)

Drizzy also reflected on Wayne's speculated eight to ten month jail sentence beginning early next year.

"He's dealing with it well," Drizzy revealed in an interview. "Wayne's not usually gonna open up emotionally and tell you how he's really feeling about anything. He's kinda more concerned about getting as much music as he possibly can, so that when he's in there, people are still satisfied musically with Lil Wayne product, and that's just the mind of a true businessman. I'll just do what I can to keep the whole Young Money/Cash Money team going, and I just want to play my part as a team member and keep the brand strong until the boss gets home...He's like superhuman. I don't think anything could really break his concentration or his zone when he's in there. I definitely didn't think this would be the outcome of it, but I hope it will add to him selling a million records again. It's an unfortunate situation and I hope that he'll be able to position it where his release is a day where everyone's excited and they're just excited about his new album. I hope he manages to market it the right way." (Rap-Up)

The Canadian-based emcee will reportedly grace the new VIBE Magazine re-launch issue next month.

The cover with Chris Brown actually shares the print run with covers featuring Drake, another hip-hop artist. But it's the Chris Brown cover that's more likely to get people talking. Now the print edition is coming back with a reduced frequency, four issues next year compared with the 10 once planned for 2009, and a smaller paid circulation guarantee, 300,000 now compared to 600,000 at shutdown. That partly reflects the tough economy. It's a result, too, of abandoning all subscribers to the old Vibe, who now have to buy new subscriptions if they want the new print edition; InterMedia didn't take on liability for prior subscribers when it bought Vibe's assets. The return issue, out Dec. 8 in a slightly over-sized format, is expected to include more than 40 pages of advertising. (Ad Age)

Thank Me Later is slated to land in stores February 2010.

Rick Ross On Nas As Def Jam President, says "I Want Rap Niggas To Takeover Everything"

Following reports of Nas possibly receiving an opportunity to become Def Jam Records president, Latest World Wide spoke with the rapper's labelmate, Rick Ross, to get his reaction.

Ross thinks Nas is a great example of hip-hop artists who are worthy of taking over executive positions at record companies.

"I love it," Ross said about Nas being considered for an executive position. "I love when I hear an artist finna to get some other motherf*cker's money. We deserve it all, I can't lie. I want rap n*ggas to takeover everything, might as well f*cking do films too. It is what it is but at the same time, man, you know, Nas been in the game. I believe his track record speaks for itself and if any label is gonna do it, I feel it should be Def Jam. Def Jam is the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. There's so many legends that came through the game after you've had a successful recording career as an artist, I feel there's a lot more to benefit, experience-wise, so why not capitalize off of it instead of giving it to a motherf*cker straight out of Howard University who ain't ever put a mixtape together, give it to a motherf*cker that did it all."

Nas previously hinted at his willingness to take on the position.

"Yes and no," Nas said about being offered the presidency. "I don't know what's in store for the future. I'm happy to do whatever makes sense. I would love to add on and help hip-hop, I feel Def Jam is a great label for hip-hop music but I feel they could be doing a lot more for hip-hop, that's what it's about. Obviously people they have, have their own agendas and own direction and I respect that too. I think I can add on but I don't know, at this point and time, I'm just taking it day-by-day, I'm not getting too caught up into all of that." (PunchBowl)

Jay-Z held the presidency at Def Jam until he stepped down in 2007.

Three years ago, Jay-Z signed an incentive-based contract to take over the storied hip-hop label, and in 2006, he returned from "retirement" to put out a new album, Kingdom Come. The project was met with mixed reviews but was best known for the controversies that surrounded it. Several artists who were signed to Def Jam voiced their displeasure that the president of the company was busy promoting and supporting his own album rather than helping to market works by other acts on the label. (MTV)

During his heated rap beef with Rick Ross over the winter, 50 Cent also hinted at taking on a position as Def Jam president.

"When I run Def Jam I'm going to get rid of all of them," Fif told radio personality Angie Martinez last February. "Khaled, all of them...they're going baby...I don't think that's a bad idea if I have to go to get rid of Khaled and a few other artist over there that I really don't like." (Hot 97)

50 Cent Speaks On Working With Dr. Dre,says "I've Been Recording For 'Detox' 2 Years Ago"

50 Cent recently discussed his studio relationship with Dr. Dre and his involvement in the long-delayed Detox album.

According to Fif, Dre used the G-Unit leader for a portion of his recording process around 2007.

"I don't even know what's going on with the Detox," Fif admitted in an interview. "The last [time] I spoke to Dre, he was actualy not mixing my records because he was working on The Detox and then we finally got him to mix the records and you know, I think he's back in here producing records for it but I haven't heard pretty much I think it was five or six songs that he actually recorded but that was a long time ago. He probably has a lot more now but I've been recording for The Detox two years ago." (Jam 'N 94.5)

Former Aftermath Records artist Rakim previously spoke on working with the Doc for Detox.

"What I do is just a little bit different than what Dre do," Rakim explained in an interview. "The last I spoke to him was, I had did something for him maybe it was a year ago when he just started putting together his album, I did something on one of the tracks but I don't know which songs are making his album but you know, big up to him. I haven't spoke to him since his son passed away." (Hard Knock TV)

Dre recently promised the project's delivery for sometime in 2010.

"[I'm] only [working] on my album that I've been working on for the last ten years, that's it [laughs]," Dre said about what projects he is working on. "The Detox record. Hopefully I'll get it done by the end of this year and you'll hear it next year. Motivation and other things getting in the way, that's it [has caused the delay.]" (ABC News)

Game emerged last month with an announcement of being in the studio with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for the album.

"CAN U SAY "DETOX" ??? IN THE STUDIO WIT DRE & SNOOP. WE BOUT 2 MAKE ALOT OF PEOPLE MAD. RIDE WIT US OR GET RAN OVER ! AFTERMATH OR DIE !" (Game's Twitter)

Kanye West Ready For Lil Wayne's "Carter" Film, "Few Will Ever Live The Life Of A True Rock Star"

Kanye West has displayed his interest in Lil Wayne's upcoming The Carter documentary by placing its trailer and labeling the Young Money rapper as a true rock star on his popular blog.

Writing via his daily blog, Yeezy inked a brief mention of Wayne's new documentary.

"FEW WILL EVER LIVE THE LIFE OF A TRUE ROCK STAR,"
Ye wrote Sunday (November 8). "WAYNE IS ONE OF THE FEW." (Kanye West's Blog)

Weezy's film was previously delayed, however, it will now be released later this month.

(Examiner)

According to Quincy Jones III, the film will also show Wayne's dedication to music around the release of his platinum-selling Tha Carter III in 2008.

We were with him like seven or eight months before he went platinum and then maybe two months after. That's the period we were shooting him for and I remember one day when he got a text from [Universal Motown President] Sylvia Rhone that he went platinum, he was like, 'O.K.' He didn't even flinch. He was 'O.K., cool' and 'get off my bus, I gotta record' His whole thing is he's like tireless worker and a lot of people will be very surprised how he's 100 percent dedicated to his craft...I really gained a lot of respect for him in that regard in terms of how he approaches his records and then how hard he works. I worked with Tupac a lot and I feel like he may end up with a bigger catalogue than Tupac if he hasn't already. That kid works, he's a hard worker, super focused and doesn't get caught up in the industry like that. He just stays in the studio all the time." (Hip Hop Wired)

Lil Wayne's previous request to stop the release of the QD3 Entertainment documentary was denied by a state court judge, who approved the film earlier this year.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael S. Mink denied Wayne's request for a preliminary injunction this week. QD3 executive Quincy Jones III said the ruling frees his company to seek distribution of the film. "We're very pleased with the court's decision," Jones said. "We made a great film, which was incredibly well received at Sundance, and showcases Lil Wayne's extraordinary talent." (Variety)

The Carter will be released on Tuesday, November 17th.

DJ Drama has been busy as ever, recently spoke with Mr. Thanksgiving about an upcoming mixtape he’s working on with Fabolous, which is a sequel to 2008’s There is No Competition. During the interview he mentioned an upcoming project that he’s working on with Wyclef.

“It’s Wyclef’s first all around hip-hop project since The Carnival,” Drama said. “He called me like, ‘Drama, let’s do something special. I don’t want to do a regular mixtape, I want to make a album.’ So we came up with the concept. I helped him put it together, executive produced it, helped him orchestrate it.”

V-12 the Hitman, Drama’s in-house producer, worked on four of the songs on the street album, which will be titled From the Hut to the Projects to the Mansion.

“Wyclef produced a bunch, Jermaine Dupri [too] and the shit’s crazy,” Drama said. “One of the songs on there is ‘The Streets Pronounced Me Dead.’ [It’s] Wyclef speaking on how the street didn’t think he had it.”

The extended EP, which Drama says actually has about 16 tracks, is scheduled to drop tomorrow (November 10)

50 Cent Wins Triple C's Flop Prediction, Rihanna Knocks Out Chris Brown & Beanie Sigel Snitches On Roc-A-Fella

In this week's Pulse Report, we're rollin' backward seven days to applaud 50 Cent for correctly predicting Rick Ross & Triple C's debut album failure, watch Rihanna toss a one-two punch at Chris Brown, listen to Beanie Sigel snitching on Jay-Z and Damon Dash, figure out Game's Twitter.

1. The Price Is Right

D*mn, as much as I love to clown point out 50 Cent's mistakes, the G-Unit dude actually got me quiet after seeing those first week numbers from Rick Ross & Triple C's Def Jam debut album, Custom Cars & Cycles. SMFH...if you thought Maino and Slaughterhouse's 18K 'ish first-release record sales were embarrassing, d*mn, just look at what went down with those Miami boys (and New York's Torch)...:

Rick Ross & Triple C's new album, Custom Cars & Cycles landed onto the charts this week at No. 44. With seven days under their names, the group consisting of Ross, Gunplay, Young Breed and Torch were able to sell 12,000 records after a week in stores. UPDATED: Custom Cars & Cycles has sold 12,100 albums according to Nielsen Soundscan.

LMFAO @sohhdotcom for trying to make it seem like they really out-sold 50's predictions. LOL. 12K after all those viral videos and interviews going at 5-0, Floyd Mayweather and f*ck it, those disses shout-outs Freeway Ricky Ross was giving you, Bawwse? D*mn, what'd you think about all that 50?

"Threw the death blow to Rick, boom, six months later, Triple C's CD come Tuesday, you gonna find what those numbers are and you're gonna fall out," Fif promised in an interview. "You're gonna identify with the death blow. They can break ten [thousand copies] if they buy some. They can buy some. I don't know [all their names]. We know the police officer. We know the one that got knocked out. We know the kid from the Bronx. He's the tough one, right? The other guy, he wasn't sure if he wanted dreads or he wanted a flat top.

Rihanna Recalls Chris Brown Dispute, "I Caught Him In A Lie & He Wouldn't Tell The Truth"

More footage of Rihanna's revealing televised interview with reporter Diane Sawyer has landed online and shows the singer discussing her publicized domestic dispute with Chris Brown last February.

Rihanna claimed their argument began from a text message on Brown's phone.

According to Rihanna, the fight started as they were driving away from a pre-Grammy Awards party and Brown received a text message from another woman. "I caught him in a lie, and he wouldn't tell the truth. And I wouldn't drop it," the singer told Diane Sawyer. "I couldn't take that he kept lying to me, and he couldn't take that I wouldn't drop it. It escalated into him being violent towards me. And it was ugly." (New York Daily News)

She also explained why leaving Brown's vehicle was one of her only options.

Rihanna didn't know how to make it end or what to do next. "I was battered. I was bleeding. I was swollen in my face. There was no way of me getting home. My next option was to get out the car and start walking in a gown and a bloody face. So I really don't know what was my plan. I didn't have a plan," she says. "That whole night was not part of my plan," she adds profoundly. (E! Online)

The singer also explained how difficult it was for her to cut ties with Brown.

The singer, 21, also hinted that it may have taken "eight or nine attempts" before she could finally leave the relationship. "It's pretty easy to go back," she says, affirming Sawyer's statement that the average woman makes seven attempts to leave an abusive partner. "You start lying to yourself. The physical wounds go away. You want this thing to go away. This is a memory you don't want to ever have again." (People)

In addition to the incident, the singer shared her reaction to it becoming publicized last February.

Rihanna said she came to understand that her initial reaction was typical of many victims of domestic violence. But the glare of the media spotlight made it even more traumatic. "There are a lot of women who experienced what I did but not in the public, so it made it really difficult," she said. "I felt like, 'Oh my God, here goes my little bit of privacy, just [having] exposed something that nobody wants anybody to know. Here I am, the whole world knowing.'" (Los Angeles Times)

50 Cent Puts Beanie Sigel/G-Unit Signing Talks On Hold, "We'll See What Happens"

50 Cent has died down recent hype surrounding speculation of Beanie Sigel signing with G-Unit Records and explained what it would take for the former Roc-A-Fella rapper to join his team.

According to Fif, talks have already gone underway with Beans, however, nothing has been confirmed.

50 recently confirmed reports of trying to sign Beans around 2005.

"[Beanie Sigel] would have got at least $800,000 at that point to come over," 50 Cent told radio personality Miss Jones. "Jay was telling him that he didn't want to lose him. I think Jay and [Diddy] had these feelings toward me at one point I believe...Jay didn't want to do that." (Power 99 FM)

Sigel and 50 hinted at a joint venture during an interview earlier this week.

Jay-Z recently responded to accusations made by Beans against him and Dame Dash.

"He has a lot to complain about," Jay jokingly said during a press conference. "Not me. Well Beanie Sigel at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest, was driving two Bentleys, I don't know how. It's impossible to drive two cars at one time with his mama in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don't know what more you can do for somebody at that point. What people choose to do when they attain that type of success, you know, at some point you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself. Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label, and a clothing line. And never went platinum, ever. I don't know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little. I don't know what more you can do for a person at that point. But a record deal, that's normal. A record label and a clothing line, so, if that's not pushing a person, sh*t. Thank-you." Bun B Talks Life After Pimp C says "Trill OG" Album On Deck

UGK's Bun B recently discussed how he has been able to move forward nearly three years after the passing of his rap partner Pimp C and announced plans to release a new solo project called Trill OG.

For the Texas-based emcee, controlling his overall feelings after Pimp C's December 2007 death has been the most difficult.

"I think the biggest issue I had was the emotional factor," Bun revealed during an interview. "We were very fortunate that Pimp left a lot of good music. It was just important that we weren't exploiting this [UGK 4 Life] project, that we did justice to it and weren't taking advantage of the situation...I just started on a Trill OG, which is targeted for the first quarter next year to take advantage of the Superbowl weekend, All-Star weekend, MAGIC convention and all these opportunties where you can market and promote yourself to a lot of people in one time. At the Superbowl weekend you can touch 100,000 people in one weekend. We dealing with a lot of people, working with J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, Cool & Dre, DJ Premier, in-house producers... So I'm just gonna try and offer people music that makes sense for the club, car, iPod and at the stadium." (XXLMag)

Bun is also putting together a Pimp C solo project called The Naked Soul Of Sweet James Jones.

"We're trying to do this with as much respect as possible, you know?" Bun B said. "It's a very unique and genuine situation in itself. I'm not really sure if it's ever really occurred as far as hip-hop goes. We're carrying this one with the kid gloves on. I made a lot of mistakes in my life -- I'll probably make a lot more -- I'm just praying I don't make one right now." (MTV)

The rapper previously discussed the difficulty he had working on his first group project without Pimp C earlier this year.

"This is the first time I had to do so much on an album," Bun said during a listening session for the album. "I usually would just come to the studio, drop my verse and C would take care of everything else that had to be done with the record." (Ballerstatus)

Their collective UGK 4 Life effort landed on the charts last April.

Southern rap group UGK released their final group album UGK 4 Life which opened at No. 6. With seven days under their belt, the late Pimp C and Bun B's final disc sold 76,600 discs. (Sales Wrap)

No further details on Trill OG have been revealed as of now.

Olivia Reflects On Leaving G-Unit, "I Still Talk To Lloyd Banks & Tony Yayo All The Time"

Former G-Unit member Olivia recently discussed her departure from 50 Cent's camp and where she stands with remaining members Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.

Aside from the Unit, Olivia also touched up on her big screen movie acting roles.

"It was really just a bunch of politics, 50 and I had the same manager," Olivia explained in an interview. "We always had conflicts with him bringing back information on me or him bringing in information on him. There was no R&B present at the labels; there wasn't any at Violator or at G-Unit. 50 really had to do everything himself. He doesn't know about R&B...I still talk to Banks and Yayo all the time. Sha Money is my big brother. Fif and I haven't spoken. We both tried to reach out to each other and it didn't work out. It's all cool though. Everything is fine...The three movies are ready...The first movie we did was called Peephole. The last one we shot was called Conspiracy X with Shawn Baker as the director. Kellita Smith is in that one, it's a great movie. It's about a guy who just got out of jail and he's trying to get back on his feet. He ends up running his own clothing company. Somebody tries to frame him and that is why it's called Conspiracy X. I'm just happy to be able to get into new things and pursue different endeavors." (All Hip Hop)

The former KING Magazine covergirl recently said she has been able to return to her R&B roots since cutting ties with the Unit.

"I've been doing movies, y'all, finishing the album, I've been touring overseas, it's been a whole lot that y'all haven't seen me doing but the people who have been following me online checking out where I've been, they know what's up," Olivia said in an interview. "I've been working even though y'all don't think I've been working...When I was on G-Unit, I had to conform to what was on G-Unit, so I couldn't come out with R&B records because I was with a bunch of rappers so now I get to do exactly what I want to do and you get to hear me really sing, but again, for the people that come to my live shows, they see what I do...I'm no longer with G-Unit, I'm back solo." (Power Played)

Olivia emerged over the summer to deny rumors of having sexual relationships with Young Buck and Maino.

"Y'all are in so much trouble with me now," she said jokingly. "That is so it, I'm not your girlfriend anymore, Whoo Kid. I denounce it son. [laughs] I'm not messing with y'all. Y'all done had your Fourth of July parade. What's funny is that I actually was just checking my Twitter page real quick and one of the girls forwarded the message that you sent and said you was looking for me and when I seen the caption that Maino is looking for Olivia, I said 'Ah here Whoo Kid go.' ... Get the h*ll outta here about [me and Buck rumors]. Please. Y'all are the worst yo. I miss y'all retards, yo. Nah come on, get outta here. You know better than that Whoo Kid 'cause you were always with me. Don't act like we weren't in the casino and got ran up on by Buck 'cause he's mad we over there shooting dice and he's holding our phones. [Mase], that's my boy. We reached out and looked out for him." (Radio Planet TV)

50 announced Olivia's departure from G-Unit around spring 2007 on the now defunct "Miss Jones in the Morning" radio show.

"Yeah, there was just so many miscommunications going on with the actual project," Fif said about releasing Olivia from his label. "That it frustrated me to the point, that I felt like I gotta focus on 50 Cent." ("Miss Jones In The Morning")
