Lloyd Banks On Juelz Santana "Beamer" Collabo, "It's Time For Change"

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks recently discussed how he ventured outside of his camp and linked with Dipset's Juelz Santana for their "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" collaboration.

According to the "Punch Line King," the two never had a chance to work together in the past due to their inner circle ties.
"The Juelz feature is something that didn't happen in [the past] because we had two of our own entities," Banks explained in an interview. "G-Unit had a lot of our own artists we had to showcase, same with Dipset. I was doing records with Prodigy, Mobb Deep, with everybody. I didn't have to go outside the circle. I was excited about the staff we had there. Now it's time for change."To have 'Beamer, Benz or Bentley' added to [radio station] Hot 97 within three or four days was incredible. That was one mixshow weekend that really came at the right time. I'm so thankful, man. It goes to show as long as you keep striving for what you believe in and your goals, you can make it happen."

The track caught the attention of New York rapper Fabolous who said he would include it in his upcoming There Is No Competition 2 mixtape.
"On my way 2 Atl.. Welcome back dinner at Room Service Lounge.. Party 2nite at Gold Room," he wrote. " RT @LTLline: @myfabolouslife you ready LEGGGGOOOOO!!!!!!!!!<-- u already know! #itsgoindown like a elevator at the top floor Bout 2 meet @Djdrama to drop off 95% off #TiNc2, think imma add All the Way Turnt Up & Beamer, Benz or Bentley 2 the mixtape 2day."

Banks has been hinting at another surprise collaboration still to come.
"I got another record that's crazy, that's getting ready to come in," Banks told DJ Whoo Kid. "We gonna release that after, they ain't ever gonna guess who the feature is with, but it's crazy. Nah, it's definitely crazy considering the events that took place in the pastbut I think it's gonna be exciting, you know what I'm saying? And on top of that, it's a good record, you know what I'm saying? All the BS to the side, it's a very good record and I'm excited about it."

Earlier this month, the rapper said he was still contemplating a title for his upcoming solo project.
"Another record is on the way, man," Banks said in an interview referring to a "Beamers" follow-up. "I can't tell you who it's with yet, but it's one of the last n*ggas you would think I'd do a record with. It's retarded. I got a few things in store but I don't want to get to the names yet, probably when I get back in April, I'll give it a title."
