Coldplay ready new album
Chris Martin has confirmed that there is a new Coldplay album on the way this year.
Fansite Coldplaying.com has advised Undercover that Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland confirmed the new record on TV Globo last night in Brazil.
In announcing the fifth Coldplay studio album, Martin said it will be coming, 'Hopefully this Christmas".
The band has been recording and the sessions are under maximum security. "There are only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files. Even we (Coldplay) don't know how to do it. We couldn't even steal our own music. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it, and mix it," Martin said.
The last Coldplay album was 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends’ in 2008. Later that year, a revised edition titled 'Prospekt’s March’ featuring additional tracks from the sessions and some more was released.
In May 2009 Coldplay also released the free live album 'LeftRightLeftRight’ as a download.
The yet-to-be titled album began life in a London studio in December 2009 under the guidance of producer Brian Eno.
