Cheryl Cole erasing Ashley tattoo
Cheryl Cole is erasing husband Ashley Cole from her life – by having her tattoo tribute to him removed.
The 'Parachute’ singer wants the piece of body art which reads 'Mrs C’ removed from the back of her neck and has started taking down all pictures of the couple together from their Surrey home.
Cheryl is also said to be making enquiries about getting a fast track divorce, following allegations Ashley slept with five women behind her back, and will reportedly not seek any of the England soccer player’s £14 million fortune.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Cheryl has not yet appointed a divorce lawyer but she is going through names and setting up meetings.
'She will not be fighting for a huge settlement. She just wants to get out fast so she can press on with life and move on.'
Meanwhile, Ashley reportedly left a note in the couple’s marital home trying to justify his actions, blaming his behaviour on Cheryl’s heavy workload.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Cheryl is hurt and confused. One minute Ashley is grovelling and apologising for his betrayals and the next he is blaming her successful career for the split.
'Cheryl has been told Ashley strayed because he felt so alone in their marriage. Whilst she was off working he was either at home alone, or in a hotel room playing video games while away with Chelsea."
Cheryl – who is a member of Girls Aloud, is a judge on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor’ and recently launched a successful solo pop career - publicly announced she was splitting from Ashley, 29, on Tuesday (23.02.10) via twitter.
The 26-year-old beauty arrived back in the UK from Los Angeles on Tuesday and stayed at the couple’s martial home, insisting she wanted to be alone
However, yesterday (24.02.10) she was comforted by her first visitors – Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
A source said: 'Cheryl values their friendship and wanted to see them for a heart-to-heart. Cheryl just wanted a girl’s night with people she trusts.'
